Ironstone Australia and Green Arrow, both 100% Indigenous owned and managed, were awarded the microgrid project at Fortescue's Christmas Creek mine. Delivered in partnership with CD Power, the remote grid serving the gatehouse and Turkey's Nest reduces diesel generation, improves energy efficiency and cuts emissions in support of Fortescue's decarbonisation targets.

Ironstone was responsible for the manufacture, fabrication, supply, testing, delivery, installation and commissioning of the facility, including all concrete, mechanical, structural, electrical and instrumentation works, plus receival and installation of principal-supplied items and a manufacturer's data report on completion.
