Ironstone Australia is delighted to announce it has been awarded a significant contract for
the Anderson Point Marine security upgrades on behalf of Fortescue at Port Hedland
marking a significant milestone in the company’s continued expansion across the Pilbara.
The contract reinforces Ironstone Australia’s growing reputation for delivering high-quality
construction projects within Western Australia’s resources sector, particularly in remote and
complex operating environments.
As a 100 per cent Indigenous-owned construction company, Ironstone Australia remains
committed to delivering safe, reliable and high-quality outcomes, while creating meaningful
opportunities for Indigenous employment, training and participation in major infrastructure
and resource projects.
Managing Director Richard Tester welcomed the award, highlighting its broader impact
beyond project delivery.
“We thank Fortescue for the opportunity and the trust placed in our team. We look forward to
working collaboratively to successfully deliver the project, while continuing to support the
growth of Indigenous employment and training,” Mr Tester said.
The Anderson Point project further strengthens Ironstone Australia’s footprint in the Pilbara
and underscores its capability to partner with leading resource companies on critical
infrastructure upgrades.
Ironstone Australia also acknowledged the contribution of its team and project partners,
whose continued commitment is driving the company’s growth and operational excellence
across the state.
Ironstone is a subsidiary of the Red Invest Capital Holdings group, which also includes
entities across labour hire, architecture, engineering and design and green energy.
